Projects

JUNIOR High school

Our middle school construction is now complete. Our middle school classes that was being held at the grammar school, now has its own building. We would like to thank everyone that has been supporting us to complete this building project. The Middle School building is beautiful. Without your support we would not have been able to complete this. The children are very happy and with this we are able to maintain our standard level of education.

Mini Hospital / Clinic

With so many young people and teachers living on the premises and a very needy community some sort of medical facility is a must.  City of Praise World Outreach has a vision for a 14 bed mini hospital staffed by our already qualified nurses now working in a temporary clinic in the dormitory.

We already have good promises of donations of medical supplies and equipment by existing local Indonesian hospitals to include two intern doctors that can finish their degree as interns in our facility. The mini hospital will treat simple medical issues, help out in life threatening emergencies and provide first aid-it will not perform major operations or sophisticated diagnosis.

Furthermore, the hospital will also be used by the City of Praise Cancer Research Foundation program. Its mission is to find cures and alternative medicine on a more natural way by using new modern techniques.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the clinic has already been held by Pastor John Edmiston from Los Angeles, California. We need your financial support and we hope to have start the building in 2017.

Organic products grown and harvested without the use of toxic and persistent pesticides offer a more sustainable option for feeding our communities and ourselves. Organic farms can even support higher levels of wild life and improve entire ecosystems and groundwater. Sustainable organic farming practices can produce crops without depleting our earth’s resources or polluting the environment. It has many environmental, health, and social benefits and continues to have significant impact on the quality and availability of water and soil quality.

The Guyabano plantation is being managed daily by the City of Praise team. The dedicated team applied the farming techniques they have learned at the school specializing in Good Agricultural Practises and Organic farming. Through the collaboration and support of Green Earth Vitamins, Inc. (USA), the plantation will be undergoing a certification process by the USDA. When completed this will be the only USDA certified Guyabano plantation in the world that we know of.

The Guyabano trees are growing very fast, strong and healthy. The reason for the fast growth is because of the use of a special organic fertilizer. The fertilizer is made at the City of Praise and the ingredients are all documented in compliance with the USDA requirements.

The collaboration between Pastor Lody and Tom Saras, President/CEO of Green Earth Vitamins is to develop a financial support system for the City of Praise World Foundation. Through these efforts, Green Earth Vitamins has committed to support the foundation for a long term growth. With this, we can educate more children therefore achieving our mission goals. One of the school programs developed is the Horticulture farming class. Upon completion the children will receive a Horticulture diploma. This joint collaboration is also adding jobs and has an economic and social impact to the local people.

The leaves and fruits are being harvested and processed by PT Guyabano Global Indonesia. Green Earth Vitamins (USA) then furthermore process the raw material into finished consumable products such as: supplements, tea's and juices. The products are being sold and marketed through supermarkets and other channels in the USA, Netherlands and other countries.

Green Earth Avenue is the road that connects from the City of Praise Schools to the Guyabano plantation. This street name is also the "brand name" for the various products that Green Earth Vitamins produces.
